Kauai Nature Tours offers one-day nature tours to various parts of the island. The tours include transport by 12- to 15-passenger van and hikes ranging from a few minutes to most of the day. All tours are led by scientists with extensive experience studying on Kauai. They emphasize education; however, the trips always turn out to be adventures in nature as well. A delicious picnic lunch and refreshments are provided. Most tours leave from the Poipu Beach Park area at 9:00 in the morning and return to Poipu by 3:00 in the afternoon.
